Paul J. Amodio - Dallas, GA
On, Monday, Jan. 16th, after being treated in E.R. for chest pain, I was told to get a stress test. Since I had seen Dr. Sacks 4 years ago for a stress test, I asked to see him again. After waiting 1/2 hour in the waiting room, I was shown to the patient room by a nurse, who had 0 bedside manor. She took my blood pressure 3 times, and for the first time in my life, it was very high! She told me to wait for the Dr., "who would be in to talk with me in a few minutes"! While I waited, I could hear him outside the room on the phone. The nurse never checked on me and after 45 minutes, I got dressed, opened the door and told the nurse who was sitting at her desk, that 45 minutes was "un-acceptible" and I was leaving. She said NOTHING! I left, expecting a call from the office offering an apology and to see if I'd like to re-shedule!There was no call and two days later still none! I am a retired Sr. Citizen living on a fixed income and in my 67 years, I have never been treated so badly. I would like my remarks forwarded to Dr. Sacks, so he can "hopefully" make some procedure changes. Paul Amodio
